Hi everone! My name is Emily and I'm an amateur chef and a professional foodie that loves food, traveling, fashion, design and photography. Normally, my close friends and families don't relate "cooking" with me. Yes, I loveeee eating and am very health-conscious but I actually never really cooked before 2015!
I just recently moved back to Vancouver, BC from Taipei, Taiwan with my hubby. Cooking is a new hobby I took on, and it's addicting. It's really rewarding hearing "oh that looked so yummy & beautiful" from friends & instagrammers, and espeially hearing it directly from my hubby. The smile on his face is so big, but the smile inside my heart is bigger :) What inspired me to go on the path to become a health-conscious chef and to share my cooking experiments all began with this hearty breakfast I made for the very first time that impressed my hubby a lot!
The breakfast consisted of half an avocado, scrambled eggs with tomatoes, garlic bread and freshly blended juice! The reason I made this was solely because we had an avocado that was almost too ripped...and a lot of eggs. To all cooking newbies, if a beginner chef like me could make this, so can you! It's so healthy and delicious and consisted of very little cooking...basically just the scrambled egg! To make the breakfast even healthier, I also made a glass of energy-boost juice smoothie by simply blending together apple, carrots, celery and water! The apple was already sweet so no suger was needed and it tasted really yum and refreshing. Nowadays, people are very into buying cold-pressed juices to do juice cleanse. Why not make your own juice? =)
